The best - and worst - state-funded primary schools in Northamptonshire have been revealed.

The Real Schools Guide, compiled by our data unit, aims to give a far more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables.

The comprehensive guide takes into account 44 different data points - not just KS2 results but factors like progress, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates. 

These data points are then compiled into a final score, which ranks them not only in the region, but across the UK.

There are 229 primary schools in Northants which have been given a rating. This year, the best school received a score of 77.01 while the worst was given 24.79.
