Briar Hill Primary School

Briar Hill is a warm and happy school with well-being at the heart. All children are challenged, nurtured and inspired to achieve highly and make a positive contribution to society.

Activities

Aside from all the enrichment in the classroom and beyond, we also run a number of exciting clubs.

Sunshine Club

The Sunshine Club is available every school day during term time. The club opens at 7.45 am and closes as the school day starts at 8.45 am. This club costs £3.50 per day and children are provided with a healthy choice of breakfasts. A place can be booked for this through Parent Pay. For more information, please contact Mrs. Hardy in the school office. Please ensure places are booked in advance.

The Stargazers

The Stargazers is available every school day during term time. This begins at 3.15pm and closes at 4.00pm at a cost of £3.50 a day. A place can be booked for this through Parent Pay. For more information, please contact Mrs. Hardy in the school office. Please ensure places are booked in advance.

School Clubs

Throughout the year, to coincide with the three terms (Autumn, Spring and Summer), we offer a range of different enrichment opportunities through clubs. These clubs, at present, are free of charge. They include; Art and Craft, Football, Photography, Eco Club, Netball, Dance, Tag Rugby, Coding, Choir, Wellbeing, Science and Signing.

Community Links

Links to the community are vital to the pupils in developing their life and citizenship skills.

We have a developing PTA who aim to support Briar Hill Primary School in running charity events and fundraisers.

We offer a range of workshops throughout the year for parents to support their child with learning at home and these will appear in newsletters at the start of each term

As a school, we work with local charities to support in the local area. This is supported and chosen by the School Parliament as part of the Junior Leadership Team.
